Uploads and your files

Upload a video from your computer or phone, and download what Spoolfield makes before it’s deleted.

Upload a video

Under Your video, choose Upload.
Drop a file onto the box, or click it to choose one: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MP3, M4A or WAV.
The file goes up in small pieces, so a short drop in your connection doesn’t start it over. Use Cancel upload to stop.

Free: Up to 500 MB per file.
Starter: Up to 2 GB per file.
Creator: Up to 5 GB per file.

Videos can be up to 3 hours long, whether you upload them or use a link.

Watch and download

Finished jobs are listed under Your jobs. Play videos right on the page, and press Save to download each file.
Your files can be watched and downloaded only while you’re signed in. There are no public links.

How long files are kept

Uploads, the videos Spoolfield fetches and the files it makes are deleted automatically: after 1 day on Free, 3 days on Starter and 7 days on Creator. Each job shows when its files go, such as Deleted in 3 days.
Uploads you don’t finish are deleted after 1 day.
To delete a job’s files sooner, use Delete files now.
Download anything you want to keep. We don’t keep other copies, and deleted files can’t be recovered.
