Save, trim, reshape or shrink a video
Save a video or its sound in the format you need, keep only the part you want, change its shape, or make it small enough for email and chat apps. You can also make a Source pack for AI video editors.
Only use videos you made, videos licensed for reuse, or videos you have permission to use. Spoolfield doesn’t remove DRM.
Save or convert
- Add your video under Your video, by link or upload, then choose Convert under Tool.
- Pick a Format:
- MP4
- Plays anywhere: phones, TVs, browsers and most editors.
- MOV
- Opens straight in Final Cut, iMovie and on iPhone.
- MKV / WebM
- For editors and the web that prefer these containers.
- MP3 / M4A
- Just the sound, for any player.
- WAV
- Lossless sound for editing.
- To keep only part of the video, fill in From (optional) and To (optional), like 1:30 and 2:45.
- To change the shape, pick a Shape and a Fill. Keep leaves it as it is.
- To fit a size limit, choose a size under Shrink to fit: 25 MB for email, 16 MB for WhatsApp, 10 MB for Discord. Spoolfield lowers the quality only as much as it needs to. A very long video may not fit in a small size.
- Check the price and press Run. Saving and converting costs 1 credit per 5 minutes of video.
Make a Source pack
A Source pack is one zip file for AI video editors and other AI tools: the video, a transcript with the time of every word, subtitles, and frames from the video. Choose Source pack under Tool, optionally set From (optional) and To (optional), and press Run.
Find ideas with Trending
Choose Trending, type a topic, pick how recent under Uploaded in the last, and press Search. You see the most-viewed YouTube videos on that topic. Searching is free. Use them to learn what works and make your own version; don’t re-upload someone else’s video.
